It appeals to all my senses . I smell the mellow earthy color Cocoa. Feel the cocoa butter lotion that I slather on myself . It smells so good. I touch the soft pale brown powder sprinkling on my whipped cream. I bake with it and see it at the counters in markets.
'Need a Mocha latte now, especially on ice in this weather . The clear shiny cubes glistening through, cools me off. Mocha with Caramel dripped across the top. It looks so pretty, smells and tastes delicious.
Milk Chocolate just sweet enough. My tongue presses it to the roof of my mouth. It is melting.
Bittersweet or Dark Chocolate mixed with ginger, I wear the scent . I eat it.
Mix those chocolates with mint, raspberry, currant, apricot or almond . Looks divine all wrapped up.
Feeling Blue? Wear Navy or Turquoise when having your Cocoa !

The Skaters in Central Park
I am going to see them today. My friend Gail's husband Steve skates like a butterfly.
Last time I tried skating I wound up in a bush !

Wow, I forgot how much fun it is to go to the roller skating circle in Central Park.
I scootered through the 72nd St. entrance past Strawberry Fields and took a peek at the "Imagine" memorial to John Lennon on the way.
The skaters are so amazing and whatever is going on in the rest of the world you can tell gets left out side the circle.
They are all ages, races, and come from all backgrounds. It is so peaceful . If the world could live this harmoniously and peaceful everything would be alright. The DJs jam. You can dance, watch, and it is a beautiful thing.
The skaters are so talented and make it look so easy . They are so proud of themselves and it is fantastic.
Today I was dancing because I didn't have skates and met Joanne Duncan-Carnesciali who was using her Kangoo Jumps instead of her skates. She took them off her feet had me put them on and gave me lessons right there. WHAT FUN ! That was me in he circle on those Kangoo Jumps dancing away.
Everyone was friendly , happy and smiling .

With al the metallic sheen I can feel coming I say

-not too bright, but colorful shine in all fabrics from home furnishings to apparel. Textural metallics, lace metallic, netting in metallic or leather for example , all colors. Just not too bright for my taste. I see mid tone deeps working best here, such as chocolate mocha, azure, cranberry, burnt orange,bronze, pewter, leaf green. well , you get my point.

I never get tired of black. It doesn't comeback, it is here to stay, because

-I hear quite often about colors coming forward and replacing my black. Once it was green, pink, red, blue etc.. well never for me. Black is a canvas for accessorizing . Have you seen the simple black dress lately behind all the turquoise popping up ? What about a black outfit with gold chains? Just a black dress and taking out good old hoop earrings, yes... or plain black, alone. It is always comfortable, especially when you have been around colors for a very long time. Sometimes it is great to let the colors stand out and feel them around you. . Black mixes well with all colors as well and always will. This is more of a fashion statement for me. . Love black with my jeans ..
Oh, I think black is so elegant . My grandmother always wore black, and always looked fabulous. Maybe it is hereditary.

Avocados
Why in the supermarket on Broadway are they 2 for $5.00 and down the block at the street vendor or in the green grocer they are a dollar a piece ? I met one of my dearest friends today and this was one of the first things we discussed ! Must be the high rent in the supermarket.
Any way I can't get enough of them lately. I love eating them sliced on any kind of sandwich and in salads.
They have the "good'' kind of fat also, so awesome.
Short-cut Guacamole recipe- get your favorite jar of salsa , a lime and scoop out the avocado in a bowl, mash - and there you have it folks. I learned that from Edna ! Thank you, Edna.
Avocados have nearly 20 vitamins, minerals and Phytonutrients !
Pour on that extra virgin olive oil "product from Italy" only... and now that is some healthy fattening stuff.
Yum !

1. Human Nature
- The art of using your hands , anything drawn beautifully with a contoured line. See Talouse Latrec for example or just get out there and draw a tree with pretty flowers... or doodle a heart.. anything that is not done on a computer and looks like a cartoon.

Enough about Retro or Retro-Modern I like
2. Vintage
-Just get out those very old clothes and send them to the cleaners. Modernize your hairstyle and shine your shoes and you're good to go. I believe in that old saying.. "Seven Year Cycle"..(at least) recycle !

- which is BLUE, all blues baby, turquoise tropics, denim cut-offs, navy deep or faded... the sea, even blue green teals, mix them with beach sand colors, stone and clay, play around in that beautiful feeling of soft linen and clean cotton breeze.

-Brights! mix hot orange, bright pink, lime green, lemon yellow with Navy and Black .. Makes me want to have a frozen drink, put on my funky beads and dance to the percussion beat.
